Designed by Mario de Libero part of Singularities SET Version 1,0,1 / released in 2021

Mario De Libero designed Swanstone while investigating XIX Century Old Style typefaces. Designs like Theophile Beaudoire’s Romana (1860) or Miller & Richard’s Modernized Old Style, that re-imagined the classical “Venetian” letterforms adding flared serifs and early Art Nouveau influences. In Italy, one of these fonts was Raffaello Bertieri’s Raffaello, which De Libero used as the starting point of his research in a contemporary retelling of these exuberant and sexily unsettling letterforms. Developed as a single weight to be released in our Zetafonts Singularity line, Swanstone will be available for a limited time as a gift to all subscribers of Zetafonts Type Club. Don’t forget checking our next newsletters!

Temptress from the sea

CLICK ON TEXT TO EDIT

For the first time, I'd like to talk about the history of this particular game. I spent a long time in college playing the game, mostly as a youth, and I thought the only reason the developers stopped doing it was because it was all too damn confusing!

CLICK ON TEXT TO EDIT

It all started when I started studying computer games, starting back in 2005 with the first console, the Wii. The first real console that was compatible with 3D graphics was Nintendo's Super Nintendo which was released in 2007 for Windows, Mac, and Linux. I was just curious as to what it actually looked like! Since then, I've been running some pretty insane games on the Wii (including, sadly, a game I still play through a lot) that I've used to play. You can pick your own genre, you can create your own worlds, and you can play, in your own words, games that use those genres, or whatever you prefer to call it! But before I go too much further with these games, let me say this for all the people who follow my blog. I did learn a lot about the history of the franchise and most of it was from the fact that I was already obsessed with using my NES as a teaching tool as soon as I found a game that actually made playing video games look nice. If I hadn't already found something to help me with video games, you could probably skip this section entirely in order to just dive into this.

[74] => It all started when I started studying computer games, starting back in 2005 with the first console, the Wii.
